How to

Books can be purchased at any Scout Shop or by going to http://www.scoutstuff.org/bsa/literature-media/religion.html.

When the Boy Scout completes all steps, he is to present the book to his parish priest or the priest's representative and the book is reviewed with the Boy Scout.

After the pastor or his representative signs the book, the original application form only is sent to the Diocesan CCS for final approval. The address to send forms to is:
Office of Lifelong Faith Formation, 510 Ocean Avenue, Portland, ME 04103

The office will order the emblem and send the emblem and award card to your parish office and send the Boy Scout a letter of congratulations and confirm the need to contact your parish to schedule an emblem presentation Mass.
Scouts who earn this Religious Emblem are also entitled to wear a BSA Religious Emblem Knot over their left uniform pocket.
